Hello all,
I am trying to find a reliable way to report on the rate that members engage by buying single tickets. The challenge seem to be to report over a period and only include purchases by active members.
The type of question I am trying to answer is 'how many seats where purchased by constituents who were an active member at the time of purchase'.
Has anyone worked with this type of analysis before?
Best,
Nicholas Hudson-Ellis
Nicholas:
If you have a special member discounted rate for your tickets, you can simply pull a report with anyone who bought tickets at that member rate to determine their ticket usage.
Otherwise, you can create selected lists of members during different fiscal years and compare that with ticket purchasers. This method isn’t quite as effective unless the start date for your memberships is all the same for every member.
Hope that helps, and good luck!

Hi Laine,
Thanks for the ideas, very helpful. I have started with the second approach you suggested, even if it does mean multiple lists for active members at different intervals (monthly) and compiling the results.
I think the lesson for me here is to keep a discipline of ongoing engagement reports to look back on, rather than sitting back and doing historical reporting a year or two down the track.
