changing membership start levels

Hello Good People:
This is simply an exploratory question regarding our young professionals club.  Does anyone have experience with changing the start level of a membership?  Have there been any technical problems resulting from changing the start level (lowering the level) in mid- campaign?

Any feedback would be helpful.

Thanks much,

Mark Sackett

  • Hi Mark,

Great to see you last week!

We had a price increase a couple of years back and 98% of the work was outside of Tessitura.  Changing the range there went very smoothly, no problems at all.  Just make sure not to have overlapping prices for different levels or things can get a little strange.  If you have any reports that pull/label members by the gift amount instead of by the membership level, those will need attention during the transition year, but otherwise, I think you'll be fine.
