We've had lots of success using an even/odd year GL structure on the ticketing side of tessitura and have decided to try it out on the development side of things.
Before I get to the point of no return for this year has anyone tried setting up funds in an even/odd year format and more importantly does anyone know of any reasons not to do so?
I realize that it will probably mean that lists will need both a fund and a campaign to generate correctly sometimes but I don't see this as a reason not to go forward with the idea.
Any thoughts?
Terry Stevens from the Midland Center for the Arts answered this for me on the listserv stating that they have used an even/odd year GL and fund for many years and had never had a problem.
