I'm wondering if anyone's tried using Tessitura's premiums function to handle an activity as a benefit, and if not, why not?
We have tried various methods of handling an elite subset our our membership structure who get a couple of extra wine and cheese parties for being young and desirable. There are excruciatingly few young and desirables involved, so we can't justify giving them their own campaign to track their additional benefits (er, hmm, managing it if it were created). This situation wreaks havoc with IRS receipts.
Thanks!
We have been using premiums to adjust the fair market value of benefits for a subset of our membership structure that signs up for extra wine and cheese track for several months, and this approach seems to be working.
Yes we use premiums at the Met Opera as well. The tricky part of course it getting the premiums set up in the correct appeals so they can be selected when membership pledge/gift is received.
