Text to Give Donations

Hello!

Has anyone had any experience with with "text to give" campaigns? We are thinking of starting a similar campaign and assistance with recommended companies, ideas, or discussion on benefits and drawbacks would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much!

  • Laura,

Thanks so much for your feedback. We are continuing to explore the idea but you are the first arts organization we have encountered that has actually tried it. Of the donations you received, were you able to maintain relationships with the donors?

    Hi Shannon,

We experimented with "text to give" a couple years ago with little success. We worked with Give By Cell. We had someone make an announcement at the end of the show to encourage people to make a gift by text and had very few responses/gifts.

I'm curious if other arts organizations have had success with it and in what context.
