How to build a list of any individuals who have given at least $100 for at least the last 7 fiscal years. Right now I have a list of anyone who has given a gift every year for the last 7 fiscal years, and at least $100 for any of those years, but not $100+ for each of those years 7 years... This is a specific example, but any kind of list where we need multpile seasons AND an amount in each of those seasons would be good to know how to pull.
Contribution Fund HAS IndividualContribution Fiscal Year HAS 2005/06Contribution Fiscal Year HAS 2006/07Contribution Fiscal Year HAS 2007/08Contribution Fiscal Year HAS 2008/09Contribution Fiscal Year HAS 2009/10Contribution Fiscal Year HAS 2010/11Contribution Fiscal Year HAS 2011/12Contribution Amount >= $100.00Thanks,Heather
I would do an extraction as well. However, I would set it up:
Seg1: FY13 with total contributions >=100
Seg2: FY12 with total contributions >=100
Continue with each segment.
Then generate your list and save it out as a list.
If you use the suppression of people who gave less than 100 in any given year, you will exclude someone who gave $50 in one year, but has given $100 in other years. I only use suppression to exclude people off the list, not to patrons I want on the list, so I don’t accidentally exclude those who really should be on. You just need to make sure that how you set up the extractions/lists is following the logic of who you want on it.
Hope that helps.

Heather,
I'd vote for the extraction route as well. For something like this, I'd work from the other end of the problem.
Assuming you are wanting total contributions for each year, make sure you use the Total Contribution criteria in each segment rather than Contribution Amount. Other wise you will miss people who have multiple contributions each of which are under $100 but which total more than $100.
What you should end up with is a list of folks who are over $100 in each individual year.

Hey Heather,
My initial reaction is to create lists of people who gave $100+ in each fiscal year and then create a master list of people who are in all of the individual lists. Might be a little time consuming though.
My other thought is to use an extraction - but I can't think of the criteria off the top of my head. Maybe someone else can offer help?
Best of luck!
