Adding Creditees to a Gift

There is no way to add creditees – you will have to make an adjustment (back the entry out and reenter)

Does anyone know if it's possible to add creditees to a gift that is already posted and in the system? We received a large check a few weeks ago and just found out it was actually a mix of money from 12 different constituents. If I cannot add creditees, how should I proceed? I am fairly to Tess and am currently using Tessitura 8.
