adjusting a contribution

I need to adjust a contribution which was entered through the ticketing module and applied to an incorrect fund.

I have followed the refund adjustment procedure but when I select adjust, the existing contribution window does not open.  When I tried with another constituent who had contributed to another fund to check everything worked fine.

Has anyone got any suggestions? Would the fact that the fund used was not attached to a campaign when the donation was processed? The error was picked up pretty quickly and I am trying to make the adjustment on the same day could this be it?

  • Contributions entered in a ticket order cannot be adjusted from the contribution screen.  You have to adjust the contribution from the ticket order screen by loading the order.  To refund the contribution you change the contribution amount to 0 on the contributions tab of the ticket order.
