Future Commitments

I want to be able to identify future commitments (ie. unfilled pledges) starting from December 1, 2012 and going forward.

For example, a donor makes a pledge for x amount of dollars in 2010 and plans to make yearly installments for the next 5 years.

I want to be able to identify the amount left owing on the pledge starting from December 1, 2012 and going forward.

Is there a Tessitura report or a method to identifying these types of future commitments?

Thanks.

  • In the Finance folder there are couple – not five years worth but it should be a start for you  -- look at the Yearly Cash Planning report  -- there might also be Pledge Balance Detail    -- but honestly I think the cash planning will help the most

  • Is anyone else finding that the Yearly Cash Planning report, when run in summary mode, still outputs the name of every constituent meaning the report runs into several pages when the financial information only appears in the total row?

We think this is only happening now we are using V11 but can't remember what the old report output looked like!

    Thanks, Suzanne.
