Report that won't Save as a List

Hello,

I am trying to save a Membership Details report as a list. I have run it for a certain membership level and wish to save it as a list so I can run it against an output set for more information. When I click on "Save as a List" an information message tells me that there is no list data to save. Yet, when I save it as a text file and re-import it as a list, I have no problems. Has anyone run into this problem with this or any other reports? Any suggestions as to how to get around it? Thanks!

  • One of the requirements for the Save to List function to work is that the column containing the constituent IDs be named “customer_no” (the underlying saved dataset, not the report display).  In the Membership Details report, the constituent id column is simply “id”, which should be changed.  Thanks for reporting this.  I’ll log this and get it fixed in a future release.

In the interim, your work around (save as text file and import as list) is one solution, or you can have a custom version of this report created with the column renamed “customer_no”.
