what does a NO symbol in an affiliation mean

Hi,

i have a number of affiliation entries that have a NO symbol (a circle with a line through it) and the entry is faded. it appears this way on both sides of the affilliation. i can still follow it to the affiliated constituent and back.

can anyone tell me what this indicates?

  • That symbol means “inactive.” It can appear on addresses, constituencies, phone numbers, etc as well.

  • It means the affiliation/association is inactive, mainly to indicate that the person no longer works at an organization (or perhaps to also indicate a spousal split).

The symbol will also appear in the Contact Details tab when you inactivate addresses etc.
