Running 2 modes of Tessitura

Is there a way where I can run Development Ticketing and Development Admin modes at the same time. When I am trying to enter gifts and I get interrupted with a ticket order it gets annoying having to log in and out. Just wondering if that was a possibility.

    Hi Anna,

     

    It sounds like your security rights have been segregated into two separate user groups.  There is no technical reason why they can’t be combined into a single user group, it just depends on how your organization wants to structure security.  You should speak with your Tessitura administrator to see if it would be acceptable to create a new user group for you.

    Hi Anna
    And the other way to do that is to run two Tessitura clients at the same time, with one logged in to each process (Whether you adjust security settings as Kevin suggests or not). That way, you can leave your gift entering alone and just flip over to the other client to do your ticket order and flip back when you're done.
    You need to have some IT-type setup done to be able to do that, but it's not complicated.
    Can be confusing to work with, though.. You have to remember which one you're in, and not lose track... But it saves time and effort.
