Clickable URL in Constituent Profile (Full Bio)

Hi,

Is it possible to have a clickable url in the Constituent Profile/Full Bio report?

I hoped this would be possible with the new SSRS Constituent Profile version of the report, but if have a url in the research notes, for example a source like www.irishtimes.com, the url is not clickable when I run the Full Bio.

many thanks,

Dara

  • There are two ways of enabling hyperlinks in an SSRS report.  On a field by field basis, any placeholder or object can have an action enabled for URL navigation.  Text objects can also be set to display rendered using HTML, which would enable you to apply HREF markup on relevant links.

The Constituent Profile does not enable URLs in note fields or free text fields.  We do enable actions on constituent, order, contribution, and CSI fields to load  detail windows within the application.  (this is true for all new standard SSRS reports)
