Sales report by value not location

Hi

We are looking for a report that will detail the number of sales by ticket price rather than slit by location and price - we currently use the Box Office Statement report to do Sales Figures by but we need to report how many tickets at x price we have sold, how many tickets at y price we have sold etc and this involves manually adding up how many of each price we have as they can be split over 4 different areas. Ideally we want a report that just says at this price of say £50 there are currently 40 sold to a value of £2000, at £30 50 tickets have been sold etc irrespective of the location. Has anyone come across a report that does this? I'm fairly new to Tess so still finding my way around!

Thanks in advance

Nicola

  • Hi Nicola,

Prior to January 1, 2012, I wouldn't have commented on this thread for fear of it coming across as "salesy", but now that T-Stats is free to all Tessitura licensing organizations, you may find it to be an ideal solution to this and many of your other reporting needs.

Here's a screenshot of the report you're after. It only took a minute to build. Here I've filtered on my Production Season, "An Evening with Burt Bacharach", which had two performances, each with its own price map. Within each performance there's a break out by base prices, regardless of zone or section, and the Number and Value of the tickets sold at those prices.

Here's another example. This comes from the T-Stats Group Blog, showing dynamic pricing reporting across base prices.

I hope this helps sometime down the road.
    Best,
    Chris
