Associating Funds with Campaigns

I am having the same difficulty. I don’t understand why the Funds cannot be associated with more than one campaign at a time. As soon as you receive an answer, could you let me know?

I’m in the process of setting up our campaign structure for the new fiscal year, 09-10. We extended the end dates for campaign/fund associations for gifts designated to last fiscal year since we are still getting gifts for 08-09. As a result, during campaign set up, the system won’t let me associate any funds with the campaigns for next fiscal year since they are currently associated with last year’s campaigns. Is there any way around this? I’d like to keep the campaign/fund associations for last fiscal year active for a bit and yet still have campaign/fund associations for this fiscal year set up for any new gifts we receive.
