Soliciation designation

Hello all,

On my system admin login, i cannot seem to add a designation to a soliciation via the Contacts tab.  I thought maybe i set something up incorrectly - last i recall the designations simply need to be associated to the Campaign via the Campaigns module.

However, another test of adding desingation via teh Soliciations modules (from Campaigns) didn't allow me to set up a designation either.  Is there a system table entry i need to modify somewhere?  The documentation doesn't say anything about designations needing addtional setup outside of being associated with the campaign itself.

Thanks for any assistance!

RJ

  • Thanks all – the update to T_DEFAULTS was it.  We had a ton of designations setup – but the field was inactive.

There is a system default setting in T_DEFAULTS that controls this field:

    SOLICITATION USE DESIGNATION

When set to No the Designation field on solicitations is deactivated and only one Solicitation per campaign is allowed. When set to Yes (or if the entry does not exist), the Designation filed is active.

    Yes

    Constituents/Contacts/Solicitations
