Results of Membership Update Utility

Each month when our membership update utility runs, I receive a report showing the number of accounts that moved from one status to another (pending to active, lapsed to inactive, etc.). Is there any way to see the individual accounts that are represented by those numbers? It would be helpful to see all of the accounts behind those numbers, especially the ones who have move to the inactive status so that we can make sure our donors don't fall off our radar screen. It would be much more convenient - and more exact - than running reports based on memberhship expiration dates.

  • Allison,

I would recommend either building a list by exp date or you could run the Membership Details report which can also be filtered by membership exp date.  If you are looking for inactive memberships make sure you select "no" for the "current records only" criteria.

  • Thanks, Dale. Membership Details looks like it might help, based on my initial glance; I've never used it before. I've always found the exp. date list builder option too cumbersome. I was hoping someone had a great secret for drilling down into the update report to get all the movement of memberships records in one easy-to-access place!
