Hello,
How are other organizations tracking solicitations being handled by Board members?
Currently we are using staff as solicitors/workers in Solicitations, but we would like to use our Board Member's names. We don't want to create user accounts for each of our BD members.
Thanks for your help
Tatian
Hi Margaret,
Can I ask what report you use because we track the same way you do but I haven’t been able to find a good report to get to our BODs – a report with ask, goal and contribution amount, solicitation type, solicitation status as well as contact info. Do you have something like that?
Thanks,
Nancy

We have a "Board Contact" solicitation type and assign BOD members as solicitors and staff members as workers. Staff are assigned BOD members and update solicitation status and notes. We have a solicitation reports that is easy to pull by solicitor (BOD member) that we can weasily send to Board members for progress reports.
Clean and easy way to manage this effort.

Same here. We have 5-10 that assist in solicitations, we list them as Solicitor on the Solicitation tab, and the gift officer is listed as the Worker.
