Associating Pre-Existing Membership Levels with new Membership Organization

Hi Frannie,

Is there any particular reason that you want to create a new membership org as well as a new campaign?  If the giving ranges are unique to each level, there's no reason you can't have all the membership levels in the same membership organization. You'd just have to create the new campaign and assign the funds to that campaign, and refer the campaign back to the membership org.  As long as the giving level ranges are unique, everything should default correctly.

Otherwise, if the ranges overlap, I'm not an IT person so I don't know if there's anyway to "transfer" the levels to the other membership org; I don't think there is on the client end, but maybe one of the IT geniuses can come up with something for you.

Hello all,

We have a Young Partners Program and in the past, these Membership Levels have been associated with same annual Individual Giving Campaigns as our regular Partners Program, and thus in the Tessitura Membership module, the levels were set up in the same Membership Organization. 

This year, we have decided to associate these Young Partner Levels with their own Campaign, so that the auto-assignment of Membership Level during Contribution Entry will be cleaner. 

Is there anyway to reassociate the pre-existing Young Partner Levels with the new Young Partner Membership Organization I am creating?  Or do I have to inactivate them within the Partners Program Membership Org., and rebuild them in the new Organization?

This just seems cluttered....

Any advice appreciated!  Thank you!
