We are trying to track in-kind donations in Tessi and everything I've read says to put in-kind item descriptions in the "contribution notes" section. Does anyone have a report that will give you the contribution notes in it? We are trying to acknowledge in-kind contributions easily after a big fundraising event, so we need a report that we could use to merge into acknowledgement letters. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd love to hear them!
Thank you,
Sarah
I am not sure about a report for contributions with notes…but we track our in-kind donors with designated in-kind funds, and then we use an in-kind payment method. If you wanted to set that up, then it would help you track contributions and use reports that have Funds as a critera.
Sorry I can’t help on the report for the current issue though.
Marie

Same as Marie, we use a separate fund and payment method for In-Kind gifts.
I believe the canned acknowledgement report outputs the note field.Goto > Reports & Utilities > Labels and Letters > Print Acknowledgement LettersBe aware though that this report marks acknowledgement letters as printed depending on how your run it, so be sure to read the report help if you are unfamiliar with it.
On a side note, we also do in-kind like Marie.
Thank you everyone! I got it!
