Our development department would like to be able to have gift memberships come in via the web. We were wondering if anyone is currently doing this?
We currently do memberships via the web and the money goes straight into the membership fund. For this coming holiday season we have set up a web page with specific language about gift memberships that is set up the same way as our regular membership page. Our development department will manually create a membership on the recipient's account and adjust the givers account. We are looking at a cleaner way of doing this. I have a feeling that with version 11 (which we will not be on until next year) that this will be fairly clean and easy to do but are looking for a better solution for right now.
