Just wondering if any other Australian organisations are using direct debit for pledges? Is there an interest from donors in direct debit as opposed to credit card? What has been the process for having this approved by your banks?

Just wanted to revisit this forum post to see whether there has been any changes among the Australian users since you posted about Direct Debit Pledge Billing.
Are there any Australian organisations that have started to or are looking to set-up monthly direct debits for pledges? We are currently trialling pledge billing for monthly credit card contributions, but are hoping to open this up to include direct debits as well.
From conversations with The Australian Ballet we understand that there may be some work that needs to be done so that the output from Tessitura produces is able to be read by Australian banks.
It would be great to know if there are any other organisations out there that would like to start to use direct debit for pledges, with a view to collectively creating a solution with Tessitura.
Let me know if there is anyone in the Australian market looking to do something similar.
