Hi there,
I am wondering if anyone can share a way to execute a mass Solicitation Update without the update changing the "start date" in the solicitation record?
Thanks for your help!
Brooke
Yes; this is one of the scariest accidental changes that are possible when updating solicitations.
When you're filling in everything at the top, make sure you zero out your start date as "00/00/0000".
Then everything should retain their original start dates at the bottom.
That works for me, but I'm always worried about forgetting to do that.

I accidentally did this wrong myself before and over wrote my start dates. Clear out the start date to 00/00/0000 (it will auto populate today’s date) and then you can update having filled out the changes in the other fields.
Maybe test it on one to make sure, but it worked for me in the past.

I've accidentally screwed this up too, Brooke. Zeroing out the date will prevent that from happening.
Thank you all so much for your help! Your suggestion worked beautifully!
