Hello all,
We at Omaha Performing Arts currently take donations through our organizations web site, www.omahaperformingarts.org and as additional gifts through ticket orders at www.ticketomaha.com. Currently, all these gifts are put on account for us in development to process as necessary. For example, if a gift comes through online whether to consider it a new, renewal or an upgrade to a current membership.
With that in mind, we are looking to add the ability to make a gift online as a memorial or honorarium gift and want to use Tessitura to it's fullest in this capacity. We at OPA consider memorial and honorarium gifts seperate from our renewable annual fund donations and therefore have seperate funds for those.
I am hoping for insight as to how other organizations use tessitura in this context (different funds, web processing of gifts vs On Account) and some ideas for questions that I may be failing to ask. If you're happy with how your organization does this and care to share your web address, I'd be much obliged.

All donations from our web site come in on account. We capture donation information in a customer service issue, which is passed into a custom report that also lists the source of the gift. Feel free to make a contribution at www.FGO.org to see how it works!

Lucie-
Could you possibly share your custom report with us? We have an on account tracking report but really need to track the source as well. Thanks so much!

After searching the forum, this is the closest post I could find to helping answer some questions we are having regarding online donations - so I apologize for how old it is!
We've just recently set up our online donation system, and as most of you, we have set the money to On Account for us in Development to process it. The trouble is that it is not creating Customer Service Issues so that we can get complete information on the gifts. Much of the information gets emailed to our Box Office Manager in the form of a receipt, however, I then have to wait for her to send that information to Development, in order to know which fund the money was intended to go to, etc. Thoughts on why this is not creating Customer Service Issues, as many of you are saying that it does for you?
The other larger issue is with our Tribute gifts. We have set up this page to include information for whom the gift has been made in honor or in memory of (name, address, etc.). However, once the donor completes this information, it does not get to us. It does not appear as a CSI nor on the box office receipt, and we are currently having to contact donors for this information, even after they have already completed it online.
Any help would be much appreciated! I too would be interested in the custom report that several people also mentioned.

You'll need to get the CSIs to work from within TNEW before you see what you're looking for. Have you tried checking out the help docs?
http://www.tessituranetwork.com/tn_express_web_user_guide/Content/Topics/Auxiliary%20Item%20Data%20Save%20Options.htm
NOTE: CSI activity type values are not filtered by the selected category, and origin values are not filtered by the selected activity type. Be sure that the values you select can be used together. If the selected values cannot be used together order entry will fail.
This is usually the biggest issue - I know it caught us for awhile. Make sure you can select the choices you've made in the system table while browsing in the Tessitura client itself. If you can't make that combination when making a CSI from within the Tessitura program, then its setup incorrectly, or you could open a help ticket with TNEW.
Hope that helps!
