Is there a simple way to adjust a campaign on an already processed contribution. We are in the process of restructuring campaigns. I want to get rid of a campaign and put the very limited amount of contributions that were processed in it into another campaign before deleting it. I don't want the transaction and process dates though to be affected, is this possible? Has anyone done this before? I tried to do it in TEST but it's not letting me adjust the campaign, looks like it wants me to put money on account which I'm afraid will change the transaction date. Any advice on this is appreciated. Thank you.
Once you’ve moved all contributions from the campaign that you don’t want, you won’t be able to delete the bad campaign, because it will always have transaction data associated with it, even if the net is $0. You can inactivate it, though—and recategorize it, if you like.
