Today in TEST, I've created new constituencies to assign to my memberships, example (if a person is a donor at our leader level and has a membership for that level they will be tagged with the constituency I05). Prior to today when a membership was created it wasn't tagged with any constituency. I ran the membership update utility and it added the constituency to some of the constituents but not everyone that it was suppose to, as well in some cases it tagged people with two constituencies, the I05 and another level like I01. Does anyone have any advice on this? What I'm missing? And how i can go about doing this successfully so that it applies to all our current donors with memberships. Thank you.

I believe the Membership Update Utility only adds a constituency when the membership becomes current and not retroactively, thus you would not see the constituency added to existing current memberships. There might be some brilliant way to retroactively add this in, but in the very least you could create lists based on level and use the Manage Constituency utility to make those updates.As far as why two are assigned, I would say to first check their memberships to see if there are two of those assigned, and if so you'll want to look at your membership rules for any mistakes.
