Hello!
Once a week, our Development Dept runs the Performance Seating Book report using a list of our donors in order to find out which ones are coming to a performance. We are going to leave notes on their seats for the first show of the season, so this report is great for showing the seats. However, it only lists one name per constituent record. Ideally, I'd like to be able to see the donor's preferred salutation so that I can address the envelope and note to 'Jane and John Doe', rather than having to look up every record. Does anyone know of a way to generate this information without creating a custom report?
Thank you!
Alexis
Hi Alexis,
You could save the Performance Seating Book report to Excel and as a list. Then run User Defined Format from a List to get the proper salutation for the folks on that list. Finally, you'd have to match up the customer numbers in both Excel sheets using something like VLookup or SUM IF.

When you run the Performance Seating Book, there is a Save as List option; then run another report such as User Defined Format from a List using that list to display the salutations that you want.

Thank you both for your help! I didn't know that you could save reports as a list - am new to Tessitura. :) I took this another step and used an Output set with first names, too!
