Has anyone successfully created an output that allows you to extract the credit type and creditee. My current stumbling block pertains to executing an output which reflects: A) donor name, B) Credit types of "In Memory of/In Honor of", C) Creditee Name. Unfortunately the Output Set does not have "Creditee" as an output option.
Right now in order to prepare my publications, I have to run a report of Tributes, and go to the credit tab for each donation to manually add the information to my spreadsheet.
If you have built a custom report or added custom output fields, and are willing to share that information, please do. Right now in order to prepare my publications, I have to run a report of Tributes, and go to the credit tab for each donation to manually add the information to my spreadsheet.
Thanks,
Caught-up-in-Creditees!
Hello Caught-up-in-Creditees!
Your predicament is the same as mine. I wish I could be of help, but instead I'm wondering if you could share the kind of report you run to generate Tributes? I think I'm doing something similar, but am very new to Tessitura, and don't trust that I'm getting accurate results.
Many thanks!
Cathy
Have you tried the Fund Activity Report? When downloaded to a CSV or XLS file, you get the Creditee ID, Creditee Name, and Creditee Type. I think those are standard with the report, but our IT dept has also added several other fields for us in the download: Appeal, Source, Sort Name, Gift Notes, etc... It is my go to report for just about everything and has been incredibly useful!

Mark, Would your IT dept share the steps for others of us that would like to add those field to the Fund Activity Report? We don’t have IT here so if they are willing to share a step by step approach, we would be most appreciative!
Laura

If you will send me an email with your contact info, I'll forward it on to our IT dept and they will send a copy of the report to you. This is my first report exchange so I'm not sure if there is a better/easier way.
Thanks,Mark
