Multiple Solicitors for one gift

Hello!

Does anyone have a workaround to allow the entering of more than one solicitor per gift?

We would like our Solicitor Reports to be able to pull 2 different Board Members (for example) as the Solicitor for one gift.

Thanks!!!

  • Not sure if this is the best way, but have one Board member as the primary on the solicitation and enter the Solicitation Tasks for that Board member. Then enter the same tasks as Ticklers for the other board member referencing the original Solicitation? This was my first thought right off hand. There may be a better way.

  • Hey Lise,

We’ve created a solicitor called “Multiple” and then we list the solicitors as the first line in the solicitation note. It’s not ideal, but we have few enough of these for it to work. Staff is trained to pull a report of with the solicitor as “Multiple” to make sure they aren’t missing someone when they pull their solicitation reports.
