Changing Membership Organizations

Former Member
Former Member $organization

Until this year, our annual donors of $1000 or more were in a single membership organization with 7 levels (starting at $1,000, $1,500, $2,000, $3,000, $5,000, $10,000, and $25,000).

Now we're splitting this organization into two. The 5 lowest levels ($1000, $1500, $2000, $3000, and $5000) will continue to be called President's Circle. Our new Impresario Circle will have 3 levels: $10,000, $15,000, and $25,000.

I'd appreciate advice on the best ways to set up the new membership organization and remove the top levels from the old President's Circle organization. Are there any particular pitfalls to watch for?

Thank you!

  • You know Rey, I was thinking as I typed that you had done one of those sessions...but I couldn't remember which and didn't have time to look it up. Pathetic, I know.  :P
