I'm trying to pull a list in Tessitura to see everyone who gave a certain amount last year. Would Total Giving or Total Household Giving be more inclusive for this?

It kind of depends on whether you track giving at the household level or not, but I would say Total Household Giving is always a good bet. That way is John Smith gave $500 (on his Individual account) and his wife, Jane, also gave $500 (on her individual Account, you'll still pulling them in as a combined $1,000. Does that make sense?
Total Household Giving is definitely comprehensive, but you'll pretty much always want to pair it with Contribution Constituent Role element and omit Initiator from the selection. Otherwise iniator records, such as when someone's joined a household and transactions get moved to the HH, will have double counting of revenue.
