Hello,
I was wondering if any of you have used companies other that POP from the official "Tessitura Capable Web Integrators" list
http://www.tessituranetwork.com/network/Support/~/media/Files/Products/Tessitura_Capable_Web_Integrators_070110.ashx
for developing high-end websites with ticket and subscription sales, streaming media, rss and social networking integration.
If you have worked with anyone on this list, excluding POP, I would appreciate knowing what you think of them. If you would prefer to respond outside of this forum, you can email me at jgoodman@signaturetheatre.org
Thanks,
Jeff
Hi Jeff,
We just redesigned our single ticket purchase path and are working to redesign our subscription purchase path with JCA, Inc. (Jacobson Consulting Applications, Inc.) and they have done a great job for us. They provide terrific project management and web development. They meet our deadlines and are very responsive. I highly recommend them. I am the lead IT contact for this so if you would like to talk feel free to contact me.

The folks in KC ultimately went with Express Web for the integration piece of several organizations' websites, but it is worth mentioning the experience we had during vendor selection.
We talked with several local firms who had programmers on staff and they all universally praised the documentation that accompanied the Tessitura API. We heard a lot of comments like "our programmers were drooling at the chance to work with the API. They can't wait!" Now, obviously, they wanted the gig, but I heard this from their technical leads and not from the sales staff. What I took away from the comments was the fact that Tess has provided a very solid backbone for integrators to work with and that you shouldn't necessarily feel constrained to "preferred" companies. Agencies with knowledgeable programming staffs should be able to get the job done in good form.
Just my 2 cents :)
