I'm hoping there is a simple answer to this question that I'm just overlooking as a new user.
I'm trying to pull a list of all contributions to a select fund and need it to include stand-alone donations, pledges, and pledge installments. I'm getting stuck on the pledge installments. Ideally I'd love the date and amount of each gift with a column indicating if it is a donation, pledge, or installment. Pledge balance would be a bonus.
The ultimate goal is an easy to read report that I can send to my development team. We recently switched from Raiser's Edge so the development team is used to seeing an Excel but if we can get the the same information in an easy to understand way via a report or Analytics that would be ok.

I concur that Fund Activity Report is the vanilla answer here - lots of departments use it as their backbone report.
If, however, your team needs it a slightly different way (as did mine), Analytics may have your back. Enclosed is something I threw together in Analytics using the Finance cube - lots you could customize here.
FWIW, the 'date' is transaction date and I limited the transaction types to adjustment to gift, adjustment to pledge, adjustment to pledge payment, gift, pledge and pledge payment. But you may need something else to match your prior reporting.
Thank you Megan and Kate! I think the Fund Activity Report is a really good starting point for us. I'm going to send it around to the development team to see what they think and will branch out to Analytics from there if needed. I really appreciate your help and suggestions.
