We have a donnor who gives an annual/sponsor amount for our season. Part of their agreement is that they get the benefits for our Gala at half the amount of their season sponsorship. I am trying to record this as best I can so that it doesn't fall through the cracks. Since there will be no contribution history for our Gala - I've got a Gala Plan created with their "support" in the Ask, Goal and Recorded fields. I also have a note in the Plan Note. We also have this donor on our report that is shared with marketing to receive any recognition benefits.
My gift officer is asking about having the "support" amount in any of the fields and has concern for reporting...which I agree might be an issue and will have to be something we remember to footnote.
Does anyone else have a donor like this that they manage?
