Hi all,
I'm pulling a list of contributions to a certain fund, and both the creditor and the creditee are showing up on the report as giving $5000. So it shows that I've got $10,000 when I actually have $5000 because the company gave money in Ann's name. They didn't both give $5000. How do I filter out the creditor from the list and just pull the creditee so that I see Ann and not the company?
Thanks,
Sara
Hi Sara, are you using List Manager to get this list? One idea I have is to use the New Contributions report, set it to the correct fund, and then select the creditee types you want. It's still going to pull Ann's company, but it'll pull her in the same line (once you save it to a CSV) rather than double-counting.
Also you may want to cross post this in the Fundraising & Development Community forum in case anyone there has some insights!
Hey Colleen,
Thank you, the report worked and shows the contributions as they should be.
However, that's a lot of steps and data cleaning every time I pull it. We're ramping up for a campaign that's projected to have hundreds of donations a week, and my team would be watching them closely and pulling that report every day. That's a lot of data cleaning every single time.
Is there no creditee filter other than the creditee type?
Also try: Contribution Constituent Role
That got the amount filtered out, thank you JM!
The last piece of the puzzle: can I show the creditee name of a contribution in the output set? I'd love if Ann's name was in a column in the line of the company's contribution.
Thanks for your help, team.
