Just wondering if anyone has a report utility ( that they'd share) that can mass set associations?
We use associations to track portfolio assignments for major gift officers and if we could mass set a portfolio it would sure save a lot of manual data entry time!
Thanks!Marta
There is a new utility as of version 9.0 called Manage Attributes in the Data Management folder which allows you do add and edit attributes en masse based on a list. The documentation is available on the Report Help menu or on the website.
OOps - you are looking for associations - not attributes. Read it too fast. Apoligies.

Marta -
I'm currently working on a report that will do that, but it's still in fledgling state and has some bugs to work out. When I get it done (which might be a while) I'm happy to share it...

Hoping someone has managed to create a utility for this.
Heather - did you ever get to completing a version you'd share?
Martin
Did anyone get an answer on this?
Hi All -
I love it when old threads resurface. To be honest, I can't remember where I ended up on this. I know I wrote something, but I'm pretty sure there were some bugs I hadn't completely ironed out. The report would live with my former organization (Seattle Repertory Theatre). You might try contacting Ryan Rowell there and see if he uses it and what issues he still runs up against and if he'd share it out.
It would definitely be "buyer beware" code because I'm fairly certain I did not ever get the code bullet-proof. I think I got it 'close enough for what I need'. *grin*
HTH,
The text stream gets clipped so the reference subject is now mission – what was the issue?
