For those that work with a mail house for direct mail, how do you deal with the lag between providing data to the mail house and the data that actually makes it to the recipients after late suppressions? I'm currently promoting the extraction when I send it to the mail house, in order to generate source codes, but then we do a late suppression a month later and the promoted lists are no longer accurate. Can you generate the source code by using the Outside Flag check box, then promote the final list to that segment later?
Hi there KeriI can't speak to using the Outside Flag check box, but the option that came to my mind is to use the Delete Promotions and Sources utility. The out of the box version probably isn't what you're looking for in this case, but I used to have a customized one that could filter based on a list. You would just make a list of those late suppressions and remove the desired promotion from them with the utility. Good luck~Jenny
