We recently converted to Tessitura and have begun using Plans to track institutional giving, including annual corporate memberships. We have several members who we solicit for in-kind support in exchange for a complimentary membership (such as hotels, food/beverage, media partners, etc.) Our team currently only uses Plans for cash gifts, but does anyone use Plans to track in-kind gifts in this way? If not, does anyone have any recommendations for how to track them better?

We do this. Depending on your setup, I would recommend either making a dedicated In-Kind campaign or mutually agreeing on a common priority, type or designation which can grab all these gifts at once and make it easier to include or omit them depending on what someone wants to review.
We also have pretty intentional rules about the Ask and Goal boxes, which might make sense here. For us, Ask is the high-end of any asking range and the Goal is a more pragmatic estimate of what we think might actually happen. This can work with In-Kind sometimes, but we also often leave them $0 and $0 if we're not sure of the value of what we're after.
Not sure how you're managing your corporate memberships, but I would think the same process (Steps, I presume?) could apply.
