Hello Tessiturians!
I am looking for a way to identify Individual donors and their DAF’s as unique, to the Individual account, donors. (Ex: Joe Smith gives $500 and Joe Smith’s DAF gives $500, recognition = Joe Smith $1000/1 unique donor)Currently we use soft credits to track unique donors. Unfortunately, there is a lot of leg work that goes into figuring out which of the soft credited accounts are actually unique.
I am thinking about creating new creditee-type’s for soft credits (ex: Unique Dnr via DAF), I wanted to check and see if there are other ways being used before I go thru that process.

I really don't see a way to get your counts consistently right in the separate-account scenario.
