We have a situation where a number of gifts in the previous fiscal year were applied to the wrong membership organization. In order to fix this for reporting and analytics purposes, our plan was to back out the gift, re-file it, and this time apply it to the correct membership org. However, no membership options are coming up. I'm assuming this has something to do with perhaps the campaign in question being past date (even though the gift is being back-dated)? What is the best way to do this?

Thanks Yessenia, I can make that update: in the fiscal year in question we had deactivated the old memberships and created new memberships in a new membership organization by script. What I didn't remember was that the campaigns from that fiscal year were still pointing to the old membership organization. The errant memberships had been created before we had gone through and properly inactivated all the levels in the old membership organization. So updating the membership organization on the old campaigns should allow us to create the proper membership on those gifts.
