Anyone using the Planned Giving features in Tessitura? Looking to share best practices.
Yes! We're currently examining our data practices with Planned Giving and I am VERY interested to learn what others are doing, what has worked, and what hasn't. We are working to get Power BI to talk to the Planned Giving radio button so we can easily report on those numbers. We've also made a "dummy" campaign so that we can have a Planned Giving Plan on donor records that isn't tied to a fiscal year. Since our Planned Giving efforts span many, many years we want to keep all touch points with donors in one place, the Plan based on the dummy campaign. I've been here 1.5 years and inherited Planned Giving info that has been saved in about 5 different places, so we're about to embark on a project to bring all of that info into the one Plan. However, the Planned Giving radio button will remain the prime area for exact numbers for reporting purposes. It's just a bummer you can't track something like Plan Steps in there, or save documents.
