Are you a plans expert? I am looking for some guidelines and general best practices on using plans for complex solicitations - particularly those that involve gifts to more than one designation and/or fund or those that will be paid using a Donor Advised Fund. Do you create a separate plan for each designation and/or fund? Keep them together with a generic designation? Who is responsible for connecting the contributions that should be attributed to the plan but don't automatically connect because of a soft credit or a non-matching designation? How are those audited to ensure there are no mistakes?
