I'm wondering if it's possible to change campaigns once they've started and contributions have come in. Currently we have corporate donations and corporate sponsorship mixed together, and I would like to separate them into two separate campaigns. Very specific funds are associated with both, ie we have a "corporate donation" fund and a "corporate sponsor production 1" fund for example.

To get an accurate record for the fiscal year, you’ll have to re-enter all gifts that end up being in the incorrect campaign, adjusting them out of Campaign A and into Campaign B.
When we’ve moved a fund to a different campaign midstream, we end up with a bunch of zero contributions in the old campaign. We keep the same date on the contribution adjustment as of the original contribution, for ease of record reading. We document such a move in the contribution’s notes. This type of adjustment can be a pain to do because you have to change the start/end dates on the fund in question in both campaigns so that as you work on one campaign, the fund is active there.
