I'm a relatively recent addition to the Tessitura community (hired with the SDSO at the beginning of December) but I'm learning so much and having so much fun.
In my position, one of my responsibilities is personally thanking donors in a certain amount range, whether by phone, mailed note, email, etc. I know that you can create certain acknowledgement letters to go through automatically, and right now we have that set up for the tax letter, but what I'm doing are more personalized, less formal letters. So if I need to contact anyone who donates between $500 and $15,000 to our annual fund, is there a way to create a function that automatically creates a step for me if someone donates in that amount range?
I'm relatively new to these types of tasks in Tessitura, so I wanted to join this conversation in case someone has a great idea! All I can think to do is to pull a report of all the donors in the target date range and amounts, create a List out of it, and then use the Plans Maintenance mass-update tool for Steps. Definitely not automatic like you're looking for. Curious to hear other ideas!
Yeah, that's essentially what I'm doing now, but there are so many Tessitura wizards out there, I wanted to see if one of them had some magic up their sleeves.
