We have a really great consultant who works on all of the Kennedy Center's Membership direct mail. We've worked with their CEO since the inception of our membership program. They are based in DC, but have clients all over the country. They handle a lot of performing arts clients as well as other industries.

We just started working with a consultant in June at TheatreWorks. So far, we've just worked on email appeals, but I immediately saw an increase in return and income. We haven't mailed or first direct mail piece yet, so the jury is still out on that one. She's local though, and has a theatre background. (She used to work for Berkeley Rep.) Good luck!
