Has anyone made monthly giving a donation option on sub renewal forms? Did you offer one-time and monthly gifts side by side, or only one or the other?

At a previous organization we did this for the online sub renewal process and were considering it for paper forms as well, but then covid hit so that never happened. Online in the purchase path, there was a page that appeared before you finalized the sub purchase. It suggested a large one-time donation, or a monthly on-going/sustaining gift. The page was set to default to have the monthly donation selected. This was very successful for us!
Thanks Sara! I have also had it in the cart before and that was transformative for finding new monthly donors. But I am where you were in 2019 thinking about the paper form. :)
