I added a contribution to a ticket batch and it won't let me delete it and re-enter it into the Development batch. Is there anyway to delete it?
Ticket batches are typically Uncontrolled, while Development batches are Controlled, meaning that contribution went "live" the moment you clicked save. I believe you'll have to remove it while still in a ticketing batch, and then add it in while in a Development batch. I would first call up your friendly Finance people and confirm before you do so, as they're the ones that will have to deal with any wonky-ness created by this. It happens and can be fixed!
To add to this: you can't just "delete" the contribution in the order. You have to reduce it to zero instead, just like you would adjust down an entry in the contribution editor.
