Just wondering who out there has used WealthEngine: Prospect Research Technology? We have it and are using it just fine but it was suggested that we import the WealthEngine information into Tessitura. Just wondering if anyone had any experience doing this, what fields you imported (Inner Circle, P2G Ratings...), and if it seemed helpful or worth the time and money to do? Any information/experience you could share would be a great help.
Interesting. So you’ve found them to be the most accurate and easiest to import?

We've used Wealth Engine several times over the years and I've just finished importing the latest batch of data. I just take the simple route of importing the excel document into a local table through SQL and going from there. Because we've got older formatted data and new data this required me to do some tweaking to my old local table (adding new fields to the local table and null columns to my excel document to take care of obsolete fields Wealth Engine no longer uses but we have data in for old screenings). It's fairly old school - no fancy import stuff, but it was pretty quick and easy. We have a custom screen that pulls the data off that local table (for our devo department is a fraction of the fields that WE provides).

Hi Shelley,
We've been looking into this as well. As I understand it, WealthEngine is working on a new product due later this year that will tighten integration with Tessitura and allow automated import, at some extra cost. That's about the extent of my knowledge about it though--I'm sure they would be happy to tell you all about it!

Hi Shelley -
I unfortunately make no claims to Wealth Engine in comparing it to other products. In this case I was just given data by my development department and asked to make it work. The life of IT. ;)
Alex Harris (who now works at Seattle Opera) was our main Wealth Engine lead person - you might try to send him an email and see if he has any pearls of wisdom about the accuracy of the information.
I imagine any product that maintains your customer number and gives you an excel document would be just as easy to import in the way I imported Wealth Engine.
