Has anyone ever had to include in a sponsor agreement/contract a non-solicitation clause? We have a new sponsor (financial institution) who likes to sponsor donor events, our Donor Lounge, etc. that we've begun to receive feedback on that they are a little "aggressive" in their networking while at our events/programs. We are getting ready to renew their annual sponsorship and I would like to include a clause of some-sort that highlights that while networking is OK, direct solicitation is not.
Has anyone else experienced this? How did you handle it? Do you have phrasing available that you'd be willing to share?
Thank you in-advance!
