We are a museum, but also have a 200-seat theater and are looking to revive our old seat campaign. Of the 200 seats, we have ~120 remaining to be sold and are looking to build out a page on TNEW to help us sell them. It seems like our best route would be to set this up as an event/performance and have donors select their seat (to be named) on the page. Has anyone done something like this before, either by setting up an event or another method?
We converted to Tessitura in Aug 2020 and have been closed since March 2020, so this would actually be the first event we'll build!

Hello! We had a Name-a-Seat Appeal last year and it did way better than expected. We set it up in TNEW as a Contribution, rather than an Event/Ticket Order. That way we control the seating fulfillment. We had a field where they could input their requested location. We do have a Performance set up for the NAS so we can have the seating chart accurate but I will manually do those "comp" orders.
